Baldwin Hills WALMART closing TOMORROW!!:7 things that should take it's place

I abruptly found out that Walmart on Crenshaw Blvd will be closing it's doors permanently in the next 24 hours. source:  LA Times  Walmart announced that they will be closing 269 stores nationwide.  Seven of which are south LA County Walmart including: Long Beach, Downtown LA, Altadena and Hawaiian Gardens. Granted, I wasn't the biggest Walmart LA fan.  I prefer a smaller city Walmart (i.e Brea) But I'd like to think of it as convenient for last minute and affordable items.  With the absence of Walmart (formerly Robinson's-May), there leaves an empty area. But for what?  Here are 7 things the LAgant girl suggests:

1.  Ikea- How phenomenal would it be to not have to travel to Carson, South Coast, or Burbank to furnish your apartment at a low price?

2.  We Work-  A cool concept of a shared work space for freelancers and startups.  The LAgant girl may rent when they open!

3.  Salon Republic- With all the hair dressers, barbers, make-up artists, masseuses, aestheticians, nail artists that are in Urban LA, this would be a BIG win for the community.

4.  Trader Joe's- *drops mic*

5.  Apartment complexes- Think downtown LA!  The train is coming, RAMS as well.  It would be a prime locale sooooo urban. swoons.

6.  Total Wine/BevMo-  Need I say more.  Out with the liquor stores (although I love the Liquor Bank) and in with Total Wine to spruce up the community.

7.  24 Hour Fitness- Any gym for that matter.  Health and/or wealth should be the focus of urban LA.
