Underground Restaurants aka Urban Food Concierge aka catering services have been on the rise in and I, for one, can not be more excited, inspired..........and HUNGRY.  Here are two shining stars:

Watts very own quesadillas (shrimp or BBQ chicken) are simply PHENOMENAL!!! The chefs humble and hardworking personality makes you want to return.  The food is in a league of it's own.   They have a cult following.  Rightfully so!  If you find yourself in Watts (728 E. 108th St); a simple drive off of the 105E Highway: check them out HERE.  Make a trip of it and arrive early because he does sell out by 3pm.  Go Kevin!








Trap Kitchen

These guys have a great story and their food is even better.  The highly popular Boyz from the hood specializes in gumbo, and the people's favorite Spankihana's pineapple teriyaki bowl served with either, chicken, shrimp, beef and even LOBSTER served in a fresh sliced pineapple (and they even deliver)
