This Weekend....in L.A.{SATURDAY 11/05/16} Urban Food Fest

Remember....... a few weeks ago.....when I told you about the urban food phenomena!?...... About Trap Kitchen, All Flavor No Grease and such??  Well, as you may know there are others.  Just as delish! Urban food concierge is a movement, and this weekend a number of them will be in ONE PLACE, SIX HOURS, TWELVE companies, ONE  low admission PRICE (in addition to your food purchase).  Some of them include MR. FRIES man and Taco Mell .  My suggestions!!!  Also, A little taste of Chyna, Bleu Kitchen and All flavor No grease.

Early arrival suggested.  I'm SURE it will sell OUT!

Saturday November 5th 2016
12:00pm-6:00pm

Navigate through Dine LA Restaurant Week

DineLA Restaurant Week should be one of the most anticipated time of the year for the Los Angeles foodie.  Restaurant week lasts two weeks (excluding Saturday and Sunday) and happens twice a year (winter and summer).  Over three hundred fine dining restaurants in Los Angeles participate and offer prix fixe at a fraction of their normal prices. I encourage all of my urbanites to experience new places that they never would have gotten the chance to try. I recall saving up to go to at least 3 restaurants each week. I have been for a few years and since then have slowed down. But it definitely should be on any Los Angeleno's to do list at least once a year.

STK at the W Hotel Westwood

Here are a few tips from the L.A.gant girl to navigate through and maximize the most out of your dine LA week:

1.  Book Early!  RESERVATIONS ARE A MUST!

Reserve at Open Table or call the restaurant yourself.  Either way make sure you let the restaurant know you are reserving for dineLA.

2.  Pre-game if you must.

What will make your dineLA experience costly is the miscellaneous drink purchases.  So, have a glass of champagne (or two) before you leave to reduce the costs.  Dessert is always included in the specials.

3.  Go where you've never been.

While I would love to go to Ruth's Chris every single time, I had to broaden my horizons.  Besides, you get an opportunity to sample several items off of the menu and you don't have to ask your server for suggestions.

Here's a sample menu below.
Choose one from each section:  an appey, an entree and dessert!  what more can a girl (or guy) ask for?

4.  Do your research

You may have been wanting to go to Republic but you may find that the kimchi fried rice is not on the menu, so you should take your talents to another location; like LeBron took his talents to South Beach.  Click here to navigate through the site.  Its quite user friendly AND has all 300+ restaurants and what they are serving (lunch or dinner or both).

5.  Need help with picking a location(s) to try

The L.A.gant girl suggests:
Mr. Chows (Beverly Hills)
Just for the experience.  The food.........meh
Katana (West Hollywood)
Food and ambience are amay!
Café Gratitude (Larchmount)
You will leave feeling...........grateful
Post and Beam
A hidden Baldwin Hills JEWEL. So L.A.gant!
Church Key
Fantastic food and service.  The dim sum carts are a must try

Comment below and let the doll know where you will be dining! Hit me on the snap! Let's chat
