I'm back at you with another report for your brunch needs. This week the L.A.gant girl reviews Tart. Located right across the street from The Grove in a rustic, wooden, sexy a$$ building, Tart is definitely in my top five favorite brunch spots in L.A. For several reasons (noted in my grading rubric): Spike Punch Bowl to die for, killer cute crowd and tasty food. There's a small pool inside which is housed for the residents staying in the Farmers Daughter Hotel.
If you've been an outstanding pupil you know the criteria:
Location (is it scenic, is there a lot of travel time)
Parking (valet only, street parking, metered parking)
Mimosas (I mean really, is this even a question.)
Music (is loud or background music, is nonexistent, do they play the hits)
Crowd (good for moms, good for turn ups, good for pick ups or hook ups)

Food (buffet, mediocre, to die for)
