Outdooor Cuisines: Food Truck Fascination!!!

A couple of months ago I won some tickets to the outdoor cinema food fest from another awesome blog FINER THINGS LA.  This event was held at a couple of parks during the summer; Exposition Park, and LaCienega Park.  The awesome news is that it was extended because it was such a hit.  The event is a jewel in urban LA because its right in the mid-city of LA or as I call it USCity.  The first OCFF I attended had at least 14 food trucks, a band and a movie showing of the Princess Bride.  After perusing the park my beau and I settled on our first food truck tasting: Frysmith.  I was blown away, it is absolute quality and amazement.  I decided against trying NaNa Queens at that time b/c I thought pudding and wings were a weird combo (little did I know as you continue to read). After that day I was infatuated with food trucks, I had passively followed them on Twitter, but that has now developed into an active and weekly stalking of whatever food truck I can find.  I stalked NaNa Queens next and found them at the LAX lot (btw Century and 98th).  Once again...BLOWN AWAY; of course they were sold out of the infamous banana pudding but their food is equally renowned I'm sure..

The OCFF was an awesome experience so I decided to go again, with my best friend and her mother.  This time we had a strategy: everyone was to get an item from a different food truck.  I chose The Place: a variety of food like a tradition truck.  My best friend chose: Greens on Wheels salads and wraps and my best friend's mom chose The Shrimp Pimp.  After tasting the Shrimp Pimp truck they were defintely added to my list of all time faves accompanying NaNa Qeens and Frysmith.

I strongly encourage you to stalk and patronize these trucks when you find them:  They offer quality and variety of food and an awesome business if you ask me.  The easiest and most up-to-date way to find a food truck is on Twitter; but you can always visit there sites where they are updated with schedules weekly.  HAPPY STALKING
