Booooo-YAH: Halloween Festivities in LA

With Halloween approaching this weekend, I thought it would be festive if I shared a few Halloween fun spots to hit up this coming weekend.  If you haven’t purchased your tickets already I suggest you do so…STAT… Most, if not all of these places will sell out before your can say Trick or Treat. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CHILDREN UNDER 13”

Knotts’ Scary Farm ($$)
This is a classic So Cal spot to visit.  Monsters and ghost will be popping out of the place the minute you step in line to buy tickets.  Actually for this event DO NOT plan to buy tickets the day of the event because you will be sadly disappointed.  I suggest you bundle up (its usually a bit nippy), arrive at least an hour early (parking is a B****), and take your nervous meds because you will be on edge all night.
Admission: $38.00 weekdays $46.00 weekends $35.00 ON HALLOWEEN NIGHT
Directions: Interstate 91 exit Knotts Av. And following the sea of red light (Traffic)
Contact: www.knotts.com

Universal Halloween Horror Nights ($$$)The evil Chucky will be featured at both Halloween Horror Nights in Florida and Hollywood.
I haven’t had the pleasure of attending this event, but I imagine it being a fabulous production because of the background of the company.  Universal is renowned for movie production so you’re in for a good time.  Scary Zones, terror trams and mazes fill these movie back lots.  Even the website is festive and interactive.  Check out more info:
Admission: $59.00 (at the door) if not sold out + parking
Directions: Interstate 101 exit Universal City

Queen Mary Dark Horror ($$/$)
The ship that aligns Long Beach’s harbor is now damned with demons and the Queen and other visitors have come to haunt guests.  This too has mazes and even a band to entertain you through the lines and horror.  By tickets online, at the door, or call (562) 435-3511
Admission: $35.00 + $15.00 parking
Directions: Interstate 405 to the 710S exit and follow signs to the Queen Mary

West Hollywood Costume Carnival ($)
This is the premiere Halloween event to attend.
Santa Monica Blvd
is complete shut down and you will finds the BEST costumes and an over all good time in WeHo.  After all the gays absolutely know how to throw events!  This event is always broadcasted on the local news Halloween day and best of all.  ITS FREE; Of course after you hit the bars for libations. A MUST DO if you are into costumes!!
