the Scoop on SCOOPS!!!

My many journeys through LA often lead me outside of the typical urban area, and last night I wondered to SCOOPS Ice Cream Parlor.  I follow Caroline on Crack (an awesome blogger) who frequents this place; as I notice throw foursquare.  After 3 visits blog posts later I made a vow to try it for myself. slightly pass Palms you will see SCOOPS on the right in a small shopping center.

I entered to a quaint ice cream shop with a couple of people enjoying the goodies and the bar and two people ahead of me.  Not a yogurtland line but I knew it would be good.

They update flavors EVERYDAY……EV-ER-DAY? EVERYDAY!!! With flavors ranging from brown bread, Thai iced tea, and strawberry lycee.  For dietary reasons I opted for the soy based vegan caramel oreo…sounds grose? Well you’re a FOOL because not only was this the best gelato-ice-cream hybrid in life, but it didn’t give you that thick mucusey texture of most ice creams…Scoops are 2 for $3.50 which make about $1.75 each. Not bad at’all

 

The associate was so very kind and helpful that he gave my little brother a free scoop.  This is there 2^nd location (the 1^st being on Melrose and Vermont-ish) and I really charge you to support there business.  The Palms location is new so they need our support.
