Artsy Fartsy LA

For my art loving, cultured, well rounded urbanites there are two events in our lovely city that are centered on art with combination of food drinks and great atmosphere.  Suitable for a sexy date or a fun-loving night on the town, these two events will expand your art appreciation while having a good time.  Urban LAgance at its best!

Apr 15th marked the 1st day of the jazz series at LACMA’s Stark Bar
The courtyard bar Spark at LACMA hosts a jazz musician Friday nights starting at 6pm, with drink specials from 4:30-6:30

Feel free to bring a date and picnic on the lawn (buying their food of course) because this event is free and no reservations are necessary
This Friday will feature guitarist composer Greg Porée Group
LACMA Spark Bar
5905 Wilshire Blvd
323-857-6180

Concrete jungle by day and hip urban hot spot at night; DTLA has really become a renaissance.  Before you wouldn’t be caught dead east of Figueroa after 6, but that is no longer the case.  The Downtown LA Art Walk is a monthly showcase and celebration of the best galleries, artists, photography, restaurants, bars and shops, and businesses located in Downtown Los Angeles.
Art Walk is home to tons of art galleries, boutiques and restaurants for the urbanite to swarm. The blocks between 5th and 7th on Spring street are dog friendly and very crowded aligned with lights and liveliness.  Food trucks, independent artists and vendors make a must attend for only the coolest Angelinos.
