It's been a long time...

And like Aaliyah said, “I shouldn't have left you” (or was that Timbaland).  At any rate, it’s been a while since I’ve posted.  But I promise to not leave you in the cold again.  I started off this post with a challenge entitled “Weekly Workout Challenge”.  I will go to a new place (and of course share with my people i.e YOU) a new workout venue/class.   Good thing is, most of these places have a new student special or discount, so I’ll share with you my faves, after it all and you can try a class or two TOO.

Last week, my friend shared a link with me to indulge in a free class of POP PHYSIQUE at their newest downtown LA site.  It is located in the PAC MUTUAL building on 6th street; across from Pershing Square, about 2 blocks north of Bottega Louie.  POP PHYSIQUE, is a fusion between ballet and Pilates with a splash of Yoga.  Hone in your black swan and Pilates princess in one workout.  Boy was it a work out.  Your strength, in all (and I do mean ALL) muscles will be tested. You don’t get super sweaty which is a plus but I will say I felt weak and rejuvenated after class.  Contradictory I know, but there's is no other way to describe it!  No need to bring a yoga mat or any equipment, they have cute little mats (and mat wipes after class).  Just your water and a pair of non-slippery socks.    Here are a few deets about POP PHYSIQUE

-        -   Small class size (about 15 max)
-        -  Variety in movement (from bar to mat using balls and straps etc)
-       -  Great instructor
-        -  Cool music
-         -  Time flies by quickly
